Benoit Lalonde



As president and founder of GPBL Inc. since 1996, Benoit Lalonde is dedicated to consulting and training organizations of all sizes in project management. Enthusiastic and dynamic in his profession, he knows how to convey enthusiasm with his passion for project management. Constantly on the lookout for new trends in this died of expertise, Benoit innovates by tailoring project management products and services to organizations that operate in unstable and demanding environments.



Benoit has also been president of the Montreal chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI)® for four years, and is a member of GP-Quebec's Assembly of Partners, a community of practice focused on best management practices of public projects in Quebec. He teaches project management at the  master's degree level for several universities. When it does to his consulting practice, he applies his Project Management Organizational Approach (PMOA) to his various interventions. A specialist in project management, Benoit is a graduate of the Master of Project Management at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). He is an accredited member of the Project Management Institute, and is PMP® (Project Management Professional) and OPM3® certified. In addition, he authored the book titled "Computerized Project Management: Microsoft Project 2007".

Jean-Noël Routhier



Graduate of the Saint-Jean Royal Military College with a BA in Business Administration and an officer's commission. He served in the Ministry of National Defense for 20 years.

Because a marked interest towards project management, he pursued his master's degree in project management at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). Following his graduation, he was assigned a project to deploy a Canadian contingent in Haiti as part of a UN mission.

Upon his return, he left the DND and founded his own project management company. After some consulting assignments in project management, he joined GPBL as an associate in 2001. Holder of a PMP®certification, Jean-Noel has contributed as a senior consultant in project management, in the development of project management methodologies in various economic sectors, both private and public. He currently holds the position of Vice President - Development of competences, and is also a trainer in project management and lecturer at the School of Management Sciences at the University of Quebec in Montreal
